NAME: LeeAnne Savage

HOMETOWN: Danville, IL, but Tucson is my home now!

POSITION: Singer/Songwriter/Goddess

BORN: May 1st

SIGN: Taurus

NICKNAME: Roxie

WHAT MAKES YOU SMILE: Finishing a song, burping in public, playing with my dogs.

WHAT PISSES YOU OFF: Animal and Child Abuse…and ‘Snowbirds’ that drive 20 miles per hour while talking on their cell phones.

DREAM JOB (OTHER THAN MUSICIAN): 60’s Go-Go Dancer or Olympic Track & Field Athlete

PIERCINGS: 2 in each ear but I wear only one set of earrings

TATTOOS: None, however during my freshman year of college, I was going to get The Police’s “Synchronicity” album cover tattooed on my bum, but since I HATE pain, I postponed that decision.

HOW MUCH DO YOU LOVE YOUR JOB?: Which one? I love all my jobs, even on my worst days. I am one of the luckiest people I know because I do what I love to do and I get paid for doing it!

FAVORITE COLOR: Any and all primary colors, and every tangent color.

HAVE YOU EVER LIT YOURSELF, OR ANYONE YOU KNOW, ON FIRE?: What the hell??? NO, I have never set anyone on fire however I did convince my brother to hide in the dryer during a game of hide-n-go-seek. I promised him that I wouldn’t turn the dryer on, but once he was inside I couldn’t resist. Warren went round and round for about 5-10 seconds. That was in 1975 and he’s hated me ever since. He believes that is the sole reason he is only 5’9”.

FAVORITE HOLIDAY: Holidays suck. It wrecks my work schedule, and throws everyone into a tizzy. I do L-O-V-E Halloween, though.

BEST DAY OF THE WEEK: Monday, it gives me a chance to do things better this week.

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN CONVICTED OF A CRIME?: Sort of. I have a misdemeanor on my record because I got busted TRAINING my dog off the leash at Himmel Park three years ago. I could have it removed however every rock star needs a criminal background. Oh…and I got kicked out of Canada in 1988…but that’s a whole other story.

FAVORITE TV SHOWS: News Radio & Six Feet Under…classics! I’m sure there would be others, but I don’t really watch TV.

CLAIM TO FAME: Toyota’s on-camera spokesperson for their 2003 7FBEU 3-wheel electric lift-truck.

WHAT’S THE MOST ANNOYING THING PEOPLE ASK YOU FOR?: My autograph, a lock of my hair, to bear their child…it just never ends.

BEDTIME: Sometime between 10:30p.m. – 3:30a.m. – depending on whether or not it’s a gig night.

FAVORITE PERFORMANCE: I appreciate each and every performance. I know how lucky I am.

FAVORITE SONG TO PERFORM: Every song holds a special place in my heart…I just can’t answer that.

FAVORITE CITY/TOWN: Kihei, Maui...ultra laid back surfer town! Actually, anyplace in Hawaii is where I wanna be!

MUST HAVE CD’s: “Scarecrow” (John Mellencamp), “The Globe Sessions” (Sheryl Crow), "Lost In Space" (Aimee Mann), “Purple Rain/Sign O’ The Times” (Prince)…all just killer!

MOST USED WORD OR PHRASE: “You’re shittin’ me” (phrase) or “Killer” (word).

FAVORITE QUOTE: "You live but once, you might as well be amusing." ~ Coco Chanel

GOALS FOR 2004: Record and release a CD by the fall; Perform on the summer festival circuit; Cycle in the Tour of the Tucson Mountains & El Tour de Tucson; Take swim lessons.
