LeeAnne
Savage is southern
Arizona’s sassiest songstress. LeeAnne is also Tucson’s 1998
Musician of the Year! Her band, Shockadelica, has won many awards
including: Cover Band of the Year (1996-1999), Pop Band of the Year (1998 &
2001) and has also received six "1st runner-up" listings in the
Tucson Area Music Awards (TAMMIES), including Best Female Vocalist, Band of the
Year, and Best New CD Release.
This
blonde, emerald-eyed entertainer has enthralled audiences with her "female
power pop" while touring throughout the west coast, Hawaii, and Canada.
A veteran of the "road" is now re-established in Tucson, AZ. This
popular singer/songwriter and her explosive band have taken Arizona by storm!
Although
the LeeAnne Savage & Shockadelica song list concentrates on 70’s disco and
retro 80’s material, the band’s format and selection of material is diverse
and extensive. The band also plays a huge selection of 90’s dance, Top
40, classic rock, funk, rap, blues and originals. It is almost a guarantee
that you will NEVER see the same show twice. What else sets this band aside
from the rest? Shockadelica performs the music and vocals LIVE; and
there’s a groovy chic fronting the band!
LeeAnne
& Shockadelica have opened for Three Dog Night, The Time, CandleBox,
LoneStar, Jefferson Starship, Kool & the Gang, Aaron Tippin, Berlin, The
Knack, Gene Loves Jezebel, and Common Sense, among others. Other major
shows include several SuperBowl XXX sponsored parties and conventions (January
1996) in Tempe/Phoenix, AZ; Tucson Chrysler Classic PGA Golf Tournament
(February 1997, 1998, 1999 & 2001); Tucson Gem and Mineral Show Vendor Party
(February 1997, 1998 & 1999); Tempe New Year’s Eve Block Party (December
31, 1997 & 1998); U of A Homecoming (November 1997, 1998 & 1999);
Chandler Ostrich Festival (October 1996); 20/30 National Convention (August
1996); 20/30 Club Polo Tournament (April 1998, 1999, 2000 & 2001); Arizona
Festival and Events Convention (April 1996 & 1997); Insight.com Bowl
(December 1998); Silver & Turquoise Ball (May 2000);Tucson Classics Golf
& Tennis Tournament (May 2000); …and many, many others. The list is
too long to continue…
LeeAnne
Savage and Shockadelica are a group of five talented, good looking, hip
musicians...not to mention seasoned players. LeeAnne returned to Tucson in
August, 1996 after a 18-month “A” circuit road tour, which included many
major casino gigs and where she honed her skills as a professional entertainer.
The other members of this band have many years of road experience as well.
Because
Shockadelica is a VERY visual SHOW band, it’s best if you come see
their performance for yourself, however a demo video or audio tape can be
provided for your reference.
